Apologia Anglicana Publications
At Apologia Anglicana, we seek to serve the Church by publishing books for the greater use of the English Rite of Holy Orthodoxy. We are currently working on three projects, soon to be made available for purchase. We encourage you to consider these for your growth in the spiritual life.
The Book of Common Prayer
The Book of Common Prayer is the central text and prayer book of the English Rite. It forms the structure for the Christian’s daily life in Christ. And as one prays with it, he enters into the life of the Church, being formed and taught by Christ.
This Book of Common Prayer was been proposed for use in the Antiochian Western Rite Vicariate, and it is currently in its ‘testing’ phase. Many within the Vicariate use and cherish this book.
The Proposed 2025 Book of Common Prayer will be published on Saturday, 11 October 2025, the Feast of the Motherhood of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It will be available on various platforms. It is currently available for preorder on Barnes & Noble.

The Book of Common Prayer: The Office
For use in your daily prayers, in a more compact format, the Office portions of the 2025 Proposed BCP is being published in an Office Book. This contains the sections pertinent to praying the Office. It contains the Daily Office, the Collects for the Red Letter Days, and the Psalter. It will be published on Wednesday, 15 October 2025, the Feast of Our Lady of Walsingham.

Saint Botolph’s Missal
The Saint Botoloph’s Missal contains the parts of the Book of Common Prayer for the celebration of the Mass, as well as the Minor Festivals and Holy Week. For any Western Orthodox priest wanting to celebrate Mass in the English tradition, this will be an easy-to-use and beautiful resource.
The Prayer Book Hymnal
The Book of Common Prayers contains the propers for the major Feast Days. However, there remains a need for a resource containing the propers for the minor Feast Days, as well as the antiphons and hymns for the major Feast Days. The Prayer Book Hymnal, a supplement to the Book of Common Prayer, serves this purpose. It also contains commonly used devotional hymns for congregational use. This is a great option for smaller parishes and missions, or simply for one’s own personal use, since it contains everything one may need for services throughout the year.
It will be published on Saturday, 18 October 2025.
